Burichang Upazila, bordering India, is a unique example of education, culture and civilization. Burichang Upazila is known all over the country as a very prosperous upazila due to the ancient tradition of Mainamati Rani's bungalow and the production and marketing of modern vegetables centered on Nimsar. The upazila is also well-known abroad as the tomb of World War II is located in the upazila. Due to the Dhaka-Chittagong and Comilla-Sylhet highways passing through Burichang upazila, trade and commerce including light industries are expanding.
Kali Krishnanagar, a natural beauty on the border of the traditional Burichang Upazila, will undoubtedly become an ideal and natural upazila if a tourist center is built in the natural forest area. I invite everyone to visit Burichang Upazila and observe various historical sites.
